    Formerly from industry working in manufacturing for 30 years for K2, Inc. as Vice President and General Manager.

    Upon retiring ran for public office as commissioner for Lenawee County and served four years as Chairperson, Lenawee County Board of Commissioners.

    Past member of the Michigan Association of Counties (MAC) Judicial Committee.

    Heavily involved in the community serving on numerous charitable organization boards and past fire chief of Sand Lake Volunteer Fire Department along with serving a number of years as President of the Lenawee County Fire Chiefs’ Association.

    Currently Vice President and Trustee of the philanthropic Sage Foundation.

    Tim has been with LEDC since 2008. Before that he was an economic developer with Ann Arbor SPARK and its predecessor organization, the Washtenaw Development Council for eleven years. During his career he has worked on client projects that have resulted in over 5000 new jobs and $1.5 billion of new investment. He has worked with such clients as Pfizer, Toyota, General Dynamics, Hyundai, Inteva, Comcast, BioDri and many others.

    In 2009, Tim was name Outstanding Volunteer for the Center for Empowerment and Economic Development's Microloan program.

    In 2006, Tim was named a Partner of the Year by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation for "outstanding economic development achievement and collaboration."

    In 2004 he earned the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation from the International Economic Development Council. This is an international recognition that denotes a mastery of principal skills in economic and community development.

    Prior to his economic development career, Tim served as Marketing Systems Manager with AE Clevite, a subsidiary of T&N Industries, a global manufacturer and wholesaler of automotive engine parts. During this time his duties focused on product development and marketing.

    Tim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and an Associates Degree in Applied Arts & Sciences from Ferris State University.

    Tim currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Empowerment and Economic Development.
