The LEDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to economic and business expansion throughout Lenawee County. By attracting new businesses, helping to grow established businesses, and supporting entrepreneurial endeavors in Lenawee, LEDC is creating an economically viable and vibrant region. In addition to business attraction, retention and start-up activities, LEDC provides critical services to support business growth including access to funding sources and talent enhancement.
This is the LEDC's core function, calling on local businesses and offering assistance in any way possible. LEDC staff members make over 125 calls a year. The LEDC has identified industry clusters based on workforce, available properties and local infrastructure.
LEDC Staff has made over 500 visits in the last 3 years.
In the last 3 years, over 150 connections have been made.
